ICTroom Company B.V., located at Dynamostraat 7, 1014 BN Amsterdam, and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 28083657 (“ICTroom”) is the data administrator and handles your data with the utmost care and in conformity with the Personal Data Protection Act/General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), effective May 25, 2018 and other applicable regulation.

In this privacy statement, ICTroom provides information concerning (i) the basis on which we process personal data we collect from you, (ii) the purpose of data processing in the context of our website, and (iii) the rights you have in this respect when using our services and website.

Scope
This privacy statement applies to all persons whose personal data is processed by ICTroom, with the exceptions of persons working at ICTroom, including:

  • clients of ICTroom;
  • potential clients (to be) contacted by ICTroom;
  • visitors to the ICTroom website; and
  • all other persons who contact ICTroom or of whom ICTroom processes personal data.

Personal data processing
ICTroom processes the following personal data:

  • Personal data you have provided to ICTroom, including:
  • Contact details and other personal data necessary to have your case handled; and
  • Contact details provided during introductory meetings, congress, knowledge sessions etc.
  • Personal data generated during your visit to the website, including:
  • IP-addresses and numbers; and
  • Your browsing behavior on our website (i.e. which pages are visited).
  • Personal data ICTroom has obtained from other sources, including:
  • Personal data available on public (professional) social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Facebook; and
  • Personal data obtained from the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce and the Land Registry.

Purposes and legal basis for processing personal data
ICTroom processes your personal data if necessary for the following legal grounds and purposes:

• Giving consent to ICTroom, including:

  • Providing a copy of an identity document (passport) for (financial) administration and personal identification purposes.
  • Execution of an agreement or the period prior to the execution of an agreement, including:
  • Providing legal and tax services concerning an instruction that is given to ICTroom; and
  • Invoicing of the provided services.
  • Representing the legitimate interest of ICTroom, including:
  • Maintaining contact with you; and
  • Improving and securing our website: www.ictroom.com
  • Informing clients of new products and services offered by ICTroom by newsletter.

Recipients of personal data
ICTroom may provide your personal data to third parties if this is necessary to achieve the above-mentioned objectives. This depends on the circumstances of the case, including:

  • Hosting providers for maintenance of the website

Retention period
ICTroom will not store your personal data any longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this Privacy Statement or to comply with the relevant laws and regulations. The data will subsequently be erased unless there is a statutory obligation that requires longer storage (such as the fiscal retention of seven (7) years for payment data).

Transfer outside the European Economic Area (EEA)
ICTroom may transfer personal data to parties located outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) if this is necessary to achieve the above-mentioned objectives. This depends on the circumstances of the case, including the execution of an agreement to provide legal or tax services or a legal claim for which we provide legal support. Under the General Data Protection Regulation, personal data may only be transferred to parties outside of the EEA if a similar level of data protection is offered by contract or adhere to an approved code of conduct or an approved certification mechanism.

The website of ICTroom uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer. We use cookies that are necessary in order to communicate over the internet or in order to provide a requested service (functional cookies). You can remove or accept cookies and change your permission settings at any time.

In addition, we use Google Analytics, a web analytic services provided by Google Inc. This will enable us to improve our website and services. Google Analytics uses cookies to carry out its analysis and for technical support. These cookies are (currently) stored for a period ranging from the duration of the session to 3 (three) years. The data obtained will be transferred to Google and saved by Google on servers in the United States; a country which does not provide for a similar level of data protection as the European Union.   • You could request an overview of your personal data we have processed if the right of data portability applies;
  • You have the right to correct and remove your personal data; and
